Sat in the UC lounge in ORD which is now the SAS lounge. This is truly poor, small and if you arrive before the SAS flight boards very little space available. This seriously dents the UC experience

The BA First and Blub lounges there arent must better either
Because ORD is a seasonal destination it's highly unlikely that a full CH will ever open while it stays seasonal and SAS were probably the only other lounge to allow access.
Thanks

The JAL lounge wasn't much to write home about either.
See my Nov 08 TR
There are plans to move a whole range of shops and eating places from land to airside at ORD to imrpove the pax experience but they are caught up with machinations at Chicago City Council and the new Mayor wanting the contract looked at again.

You're right, the SAS lounge isn't much, and the staff are downright unfriendly. But at least it has views. I just arrived on the 39 - Plain Sailing today, will TR my return on Wednesday.
