Town Car advice from Los Angeles to Palm Springs

Hi there, does any v-flyer have experience of a reliable company that they can recommend please ? We want to be picked up in Los Angeles and driven to our second hotel in Palm Springs.

Self drive isnt an option for this trip.

I've done this a few times, it's very nice indeed to be collected and driven all the way down, drivers seem to know the best route and take about 2 or 2 1/2 hrs. Sometimes I've done it through Virgin (who have waived the mile rules) another through a company in Palm Desert - but as I'm currently in Chicago, I'll look it up when I return in a couple of days.

I have not heard back from my friend, but thank you for reminding me.

In the mean time I did a quick search, your looking around $200 each way.

Also, there is Amtrack, leaves Union station at 3pm, get's into Palm Springs at 5.30pm for $37 each way.

I have found a handfull of companys that can do it for just shy Of $200 each way and that is a much cheaper thank flying which is over $440 each way (for the 2 of us) - just hope the companys I have found are OK so if anyone wishes to name some good ones |:) (or shame some dire ones v( ) then that info would be very gratefully received.
