Hello everyone,

First I would like to know when (GMT+2 time) does the OLCI will open for my VS019 flight (LHR-SFO) of August the 22nd. I have seen on the VS website that hte OLCI opening time for VS019 is not always the same...

Also is it possible to have the loadcheck for this particular flight? and for the VS020 of September 5th?

Finally, do you know when will the upperdeck seats be available for pre-reservation?

Thanks in advance for your replies,

AF

OLCI opens at 24 hours before departure UK time. VS 19 has two different departure times depending on the day but you should take the time from your booking.

It really is a bit soon for a load check for the end of August. You would be advised to wait till later.

With regard to upper deck seats? Are you flying in Economy? If so they should be released just before OLCI opens or earlier if the flight is really busy. They are not reserved seats but merely requests. To ensure them once selected you must do OLCI at least 13 hours before the flight and even then they are never fully guaranteed as operational issues my require them to be changed

Thank you for the quick reply :D

I am indeed flying in economy class, so if I understand you correctly, upperdeck seats will maybe be released just before OLCI opens? and I will need to confirm those seats through the OLCI?
When I look at my booking on the VS website all the 60% seats available for pre allocation are booked. Does that mean upperdeck seats will be released very soon or just the week before departure?

Once the 60% has been reached no more will be available to request until OLCI opens and you need to do OLCI at least 13 hours before departure time to retain any requests.

It has been known for some additional seats to be opened up a few hours before OLCI opens but that is not guarenteed. They will certainly not be opened up a week before.

As HL says OLCI opens 24 hours before the scheduled local time of departure so you don't have to worry about time differences etc
