Just want a look really, but I would like a new chain, hopefully made of something other than silver. Rings are always nice to look at too.

High end might not be the best words to describe what I'm looking for, but not "high street", somewhere where I can be confident about the quality and value, I don't mind price, as long as the jewellery is worth it.

My friends in Orlando recommend http://www.goldsmithjewelry.com/About_Us.html

I know you said non- high street but Zales do some great quality items!

Hi hamster,

I took my now bride to be to jared, they were fantastic and cater everything around your budget.

I will be going back there next April to buy our wedding bands.

Hope this helps!

Mayers or is to Mayors have an excellent reputation and a couple of branches across Central Florida, including at Millenia and Florida Mall. I have found though that their approach is slightly different to the UK, very pushy and they do tend to have the 'oh not another Brit' attitude. But certainly worth a look if for nothing more than getting an idea of prices.

A very good friend of mine used to work in Tiffany at Millenia as well, the service in their is always excellent but again she said they get fed up with certain types of Brits just wandering in and not being serious about buying (i.e.: Just going in because its Tiffany) and thus blocking the cabinets for serious purchasers.

Thanks, that sounds like a great suggestion! Might be worth a drive one day.

Always nice to add to the collection of turquoise boxes ): . Are the prices much different than the UK? Different range of items?

Hamster. if you are staying in FM then Naples is easy, a few miles down I75. it is a very nice EXPENSIVE city (apparently more millionaires per capita than anywhere else in the US !!)
5th Ave is VERY exclusive, some shops only allow you in by appointment only ! and many dont have goods priced -if you has to ask......

it is a good place to visit, nice retaurants and a beautiful beach -white sand. and great people watching, lots of chic, gold, fake tans, cosmetic jobs, sugar daddys and their 'lady friends '......

PS where in FM are you staying ??
