Well here we are. Check in was rubbish - gum chewing agent (I have complained vociferously) and it seems the snooze zone has changed (I did not want to be in the snooze zone) so we've been moved to 3 and 4A :(! :(! .
Oh and DL the Elder has lost her passport at fast track security (they found her BP) so we may not actually be going anywhere.....
Happy days........

On the A340-600 (Your scheduled to be on Cover Girl) the VS website says the sleep zone is rows 1-4 so why put you there when you don't want to be there? Perchance Mr Gum Chewer needs re-education on plane layout

Am not sure where they coulf move it to!

Hope Dl the Elder finds her passport.

The problem is that the snooze zone is now 2- 7K (allegedly)...no snooze zone apart from this ?| We were in 6 and 7K :(! :(! . Not happy :(! :(! All hypothetical as DL the Elder still hasn't got permission from immigration to board.....

The curtain is at row 7 - I was once in 7 and the curtain was closed behind me but I was not ignored by the CC but that's not the point.

So why did they move you further into the zone when you wanted out of it???

Well we're here in Revivals- DL the Elder is now minus a passport but at least we're back in Blighty!!
She was given a reference and the name of a chap from immigration to submit on arrival but as she's IRIS registered (and one lane was working) we used that instead. Now the fun begins getting the bl**** thing replaced :(! .

Interested to hear how you managed to get clearance to travel - who cleared DL the Elder, US or UK immigration?

Mind you, that would stress the heck out of me, bet you needed a champagne or two to destress!

Enjoy a steam shower and massage!

slinky, it was UK immigration who had to clear her (getting hold of somebody back in the UK took them ages). I did wonder if we were going to make the flight :0 (we got clearance just as the first boarding call went out in the CH).
And yes it was VERY stressful - I have to say the TSA agents in the Diamond Lane were very helpful (and I'm not being sarky). They found her BP in a stacked tray but no sign of the passport.

I think it would be MASSIVELY useful if someone could post the best number/contact details for UK immigration for the situation when a passport is lost etc.

I wouldn't really know where to start, and it would be great to have a back-stop number and/or plan for that dreaded "lost passport" situation - particularly if you're at the airport when it happens. Never really considered that this would be an advantage of IRIS (which it clearly is!).

I notice a similar thread regarding the snooze zone change but on a flight from JFK is current on facebook virgin page and the answers the upset passengers are getting from virgin do not seem to match the questions asked.

What have they done to it? There are not a lot of places they could move it to are they?
