Am intrigued -would love to know what the outcome of this was.

There are so many possibilities I'm not even going to speculate, and there could also be many reasons for the engineers crawling all over the aircraft for a long time.

Sadly though, we'll probably never find out.

Yes. Any maintenance, especially the kind that would be done in Manila would have a couple of test flights before being returned to the fleet

They have updated her trip back home from BOS too

Obviously they feel confident that they have sorted the problem out otherwise she wouldn't be doing the DXB run.
