I laughed out loud when I read easygoingeezer's TR
on the ability of apparently disabled passengers seeking priority or pre-boarding, to suddenly turn into rugby players when it suits.

On a trip last year LGW/ANU, a rather large lady in a wheelchair, clutching walking sticks, was pre-boarded at LGW. On arrival in ANU, we navigated immigration and collected our bags etc, and were waiting outside the terminal for transport. The CC on the flight had been excellent, but said wheelchair lady must have been more than pleased at the miracle powers this CC had apparently displayed. They had succeeded in transforming her from a disabled wheelchair bound individual into someone who would now give Usain Bolt a good run for his money! I do not exaggerate when I say I spied the same lady, still in her wheelchair, emerge from the terminal building and then, quite literally, leap to her feet, sprint across the road and run (yes run!) around 20 metres, up the slope, to a smoking area whereupon ciggies were produced and she lit up. Absolutely hilarious!
