Stupid, stupid website (again!)

Yet again Z fares being shown in the search for flights grid and every one I select says sorry fare no longer available and close to double the price!

I am really bored of fighting with the VS site.

LAX -> LHR return outbound around 18th July and return 26th July if anyone wants to find me a flight.

Are you looking for more than one seat? If so, it may well be that there is only 1 seat left in that bucket. In any case, given that a Z fare is an advanced purchase fare then it may not be now available as your departure date is probably outside the cut-off point and you are being directed to a higher bucket

Just while we're on the shortcomings of the VS web site (I note HL exactly what you mention above, & think you've explained that particular one!)....how about this 'web page fail': I just used the 'claim missing miles' form to request missing miles from a Virgin Wines transaction. The process is to complete an on-line form and then print "and post" it. So they get you to fill out a 'notes' section with a scroll bar so you can give as much evidence as you like. However on printing only the first line of your 'notes' show.

Been forced to copy & paste on to a Word doc and staple to the form. Now I'm going to walk to the letter box....is this really 2011...is this really the web site of one of the UK's major carriers n( hey ho!!

So today when I check the booking I made in PE is shows an upgrade for $229. Great deal!

Selecting the upgrade button displays a similar looking my booking page after a number of seconds without any upgrade buttons.

As I was saying, stupid, stupid web site yet again.

How hard can this be?
