Paying your mortgage through your credit card... No matter who's card you have think you'd struggle with that one?

The VS black card is very generous - 4 miles for every pound on VS (plus flown miles as well) and 2 for everything else.
By the time you buy a few tickets, pay for some hotels etc then you will be surprised how soon you rack up the miles.

You certainly won't find any bank/mortgage company that are going to give a credit card company 2.5% off your mortgage payments, when the interest rates are only around 4.5%.

BUT... I did see that some US credit cards in the 'shopping partners' section allow you to click through for a re-mortgage enquiry and get over 100,000 miles if it goes all the way. If memory serves (it doesnt that often these days) I saw it on the Chase BA card, for a (re)mortgage through Chase. Very nice way to get lower payments and a big chunk of BA miles.
