OK, so there was I poised with my finger on the button and as the clock flocked over to the witching hour of an open OLCI I clicked on it. The usual page stating they were retrieving my booking appeared, did a couple of refreshes and then went to .......

.... the Manage My Booking page :0

Tried again. Same result but this time realised that it had defaulted to the Europe site so at 13:01, all hope of SEQ1 gone, I tried a third time and got SEQ6.

Interestingly I did OLCI for the BA leg just as OLCI opened and I got SEQ6 there too. What are the odds I got SEQ6 for my EI flight this afternoon

No, without a SEQ1 the flight is basically null and void.

LOL you'd think so here!

Dear your gracious majesty queen bee of the honey, nope, sorry, VS Web site may be pants, but others have achieved the right result :w . Mind you, I once made SEQ167 so that puts me in a lower social order altogether!

This was why I recently posted asking the best button to press to check in online if you don't have a smartphone- because the last two times I have tried I have been sent on a loop by the website and I couldn't start the process till about 5 minutes after check in opened. ):

Ha ha, you guys are crazy! :D

Though I suggest using the Mobile Check-In website, it's more efficient; it cuts out the chance of looping and increases the chance of securing a SEQ1.
