It's not an official sale, but its cheaper than the prices I was getting for the last US sale...

I've been looking to book 28th December to 4th of January in Vegas (they were excluded from last sale) for a New Year jaunt and was put off by the 1152 quid return price in Premium Economy, being not particularly a bargain...

And then while exploring alternative dates, I found that it was 847 quid per person PE return today. Booked them up and its go for me. Seemed to be around 650 PE return for New York at the same time, 2.2K UC to New York same time too, but thats out of my price range.

Just in case anyones wanting to head out for New Year...

Well, perhaps, but the BA sale doesn't seem to cover the (I thought) premium period of over New Year. Seemed as if Christmas was booked up.

Might be do with 180 days or something, its 180 days today till 28th of December...

According to the VS website... sale fares to vegas 'from £410' between the 25-Dec-11 and 31-Mar-12. So sounds like your fare is technically in the sale, but still loaded because of the christmas period. Cheaper than your starting point though, so not all bad.
