Right here!

OK, excluding taxes (approx. £125), these are key figures:

Off-peak (late september) will be around £2,200 in Z.
Peak season (which, remember, will include early Sept) will be £2,500 in Z.

Strangely, there don't seem to be any K fares loaded for next year yet, so the best guide I can offer is an S. In which case, it's £890 off and £1,080 peak.

VS5 is showing K=4 on all the random dates I've put in for next year (although all other classes max out at 7...) so I don't see why the fare's not coming up. I'll do some digging though...

OK, here are the cheapest K's I can find to MIA at the moment:

Dec = 590
Jan = 575
Feb = 575
Mar = 573
Nothing beyond April...

BUT, this year's K fare in late September was loaded as 645, on an Apex basis.

In terms of "is it possible now?", well, to do it online, your return flight date would need to be within the 330/336 (can't remember) day booking window. There have been reports, however, that if you call through to them, they can book further out than that (although not actually issue any tickets until within the window)

If you want to fly in UCS, have you considered flying in via MCO as the Z fare is half what it is on the MIA route.

Thanks,
Richard

The smiley face at the end of my sentence makes all the difference. :)

Thanks for your help freeway, UCS to MCO is a bit of a bargain to be honest - I think only DXB is lower!

Thanks,
Richard

Our European originating fares are even cheaper.
Ams to Mia next Sep is 2200 Euros,
Worth a £20 easyjet to Ams to save £700!

Many thanks for all this.

Do the AMS originating fares mean you actually have to travel via AMS or just book the fare from there?

How do you go about finding/booking these cheap Amsterdam originating flights[?]

I booked this last night, outbound PE (S) and return UC (Z) for a grand total of £1,709.50.

I had hoped to get a K class outbound and expert flyer were showing K1 for the outbound. But as I am in the US at the moment I grabbed the fare online.

Any idea what the K fare would have been? This felt like a good price, was this a good deal?

On Upper Class "Z" flights originating in the USA, MCO-LGW does not appear to be any less expensive than MIA-LHR. Am I overlooking anything?

Hi Dennis,

Richard was refering to Ex-UK fares (in which case there is a significant difference in ticket cost). I believe the Ex-US fares are virtually identical, as you've seen, (on the basis that both go to "London").

Sorry to be a Luddite here, but the fares you're talking about - they're UC? Or maybe not...
