PE Seat Width - 744 Config 1?

Just wondered if anyone knew the seat width on the 744 Config 1 aircraft. I know in the "Purple" PE seats its 21inches but just checking what it is on these older aircraft.

I have flown before on them and seem to think its less than 21inches but interested as I could be on the VS73 instead of VS75 on Friday!!!

According to Seat Guru, the seat width is the same.

Thanks Tinks, it does say that on Seat Guru, Seatplans and what else I can find on the web but I seem to think they were 18.5inches. It certainly is an older seat which the new PE seats replaced so I just don't think it can be 21....

Business traveller's airline guide 2011 states 17.5-19inches!!

Oh what a bother.....

All this because I went into my booking today to check the seats and found I was on VS73 instead of the VS75, FC are trying to see what happened except VS75 is full now and my original seat lost!! I guess on VS73 I have a chance of an upgrade to UC.... ):

No matter what the size, I found the PE seat in the bubble upstairs to be very comfortable; and of course you have the ambience of the bubble.

Indeed, have really liked the bubble when I travelled in it on previous flights. Having enjoyed the new PE seats over the last year or so from LHR, I was sure the old seats were a bit smaller though agree the bubble is a great cabin all on its own.
