Miles from MBNA AmEx this month.

Has anyone received their AmEx miles this month. mine have not posted to Virgin yet. They are normally here by now.

Has your statement been published? Statements dates vary month to month due to weekends/holidays etc and as many of us found out last month, the miles can take a number of days after the billing date, which is perfectly normal (up to 30 days according to the t&c's).

My miles posted 9th July, around the time they ususally do.

My Amex miles added to my account around 5th July

Statement was generated on the 11th. Miles normally appear the next day, maybe I should wait longer before giving them a call? G

Mine have also not been transferred this month. My statement date is the 8th.

Just glad I also still get paper statement as once again this month, I've also not received an email from MBNA telling me my statement is ready.

(They tried to automatically change me over to online statements a few months ago as well. You had to go in and actually opt out of online statements with 7 days to revert back to paper statements)

I had my regular ones, but not the bonus ones for shopping/petrol. Are these the ones you mean, and if so, has anyone else had theirs added to their account?

I haven't had my miles transferred yet this month - statement date 8th - and normally they are added the same day. Also, looking at the statement on line, there are no bonus miles added. Could somebody remind me - was it double points in June and July or July and August?

My statement date was yesterday. Miles, inc bonuses, credited overnight.

Mine went in 13th July.

Its up to the 31st july

Anyone clarify what exactly the 'double miles' are as on the e-mail I got it said 'double miles on shopping/petrol' so I assumed that was 2 miles per £1 but when you scroll down to the small print it says 'this means 4 miles earned per £1 spend' !
I've rung and queried it and they said they would get back to me still waiting

I have not had any miles. Called MBNA who are going to look into it.

my statement closes the 8th. every month for the past 6 miles have been credited on the 9th or 10th. so far July -nothing !!

My bill was produced overnight last night and just checked and miles have been credited to VS today.

I emailed Amex yesterday, via my account. Still waiting!!!!!!

It you have the black AmEx then you always get 2xmiles per £1, so during the promotion period it is 4xmiles per £1, on shopping/petrol.

I imagine if you have the white card it will only be 2xmiles as you normally just get 1xmiles per £1.

hmmm miles not credited AND no email saying statement was ready yet when I checked my AMEX account the statement was there.

Just wasted 15 minutes of my life talking to MBNA (after finally getting through their ridiculous voice prompt system)

They are blaming the fact they had my old Ag number still on their system, which as we all know is rubbish as all VS FC account numbers remain linked; besides, the transfer has worked for the last 2 years+

I will now have to wait until Aug for my missing miles !

Update from MBNA.

The file that was sent to VS on my statement date had some sort of problem with it, they were unware until I complained v( The miles should be in My account by end of next week. At least they have not got lost.

My miles were credited today, but haven't had an email notifying me of the statement.

Just logged in and the statement hasn't been generated yet !

Still no reply or miles from MBNA - did anyone else use the message facility on their statement to contact them????

Yes, I sent them a message and queried the missing miles. They replied saying the miles should be credited to my FC account by 20th July but that the bonus miles are calculated and credited by VA!! I have checked this morning and they still do not appear on my account. Also, whenever I have had bonus miles before, they have appeared on the statement, so that would seem to indicate that MBNA calculate them!

Additionally, I didn't have an e-mail this month advising that my statement was available and I usually do!

Not sure what to do next - any ideas?

still not got mine -has anyone got an email address for them please -bit hard to call from the States
