After a fabulous week in Chicago it was time to return home.

Security was OK except for the usual other people not being ready!

The LX lounge at ORD is very small (and thus very crowded) though it does have views over the runway. It is direclt opposite the security exit so I had to fight through the crowd to get to the door.

Again this was a very good flight until the breakfast service on my side which just went totally to pot with people getting the wrong trays and selection despite the cards completed before dinner.

My camera batteries died before I could take pics of the main and dessert courses.

Menu

First Course

**A selection of single bite creations
**Seasonal Salads
**Bread

Main Course

**Sauteed fillet of beef, marsala sauce, gnocchi piemontaise and grilled vegetables.
Seared chicken breast, lemon and herb butter, polenta cake, sauteed courgette and olives.
Poached snapper, shrimps and scallops in seafood sauce, yukon potatoes, carrot, leek and celery.
Pear and cheese fagottini, alfredo cream sauce with toasted pine nuts and sauteed swiss chard.

I realy wanted the sea food but they only had a very small number of them on board. Was not happy !

Cheese

**Cheese selection

Dessert

**Panna cotta with orange and ginger compote

Wines

Same as the outbound (LX8). I had the same selection.

Breakfast

We had to fill in cards. I orderd a fruit salad and cheese/ham (v continental!)

Certain bears enjoying a pre take off drink!
