This was the return leg of my latest business trip to Miami. Checked in at just before 6pm & straight through to the Club America Lounge which is post-security for a change. Interesting to see there is now a dedicated & signed Virgin Upper Class line which bypasses the queue but still takes you to the same TSA Agent & machines as everyone else. To be honest it wasn't really needed & within 5 minutes i was at the lounge. Its not the best lounge in the world but it's big & comfortable enough for a couple of hours. After a couple of slightly curly sarnies & a beer (all self-service) & a trip downstairs to buy some duty free it was soon time for boarding.

Boarding for UC was before the rest of the PAX so it was almost bang on an hour from boarding to push back, which at least was bang on time. No intro from the FSM but service was efficient & friendly. As there's no snooze service on this flight i decided to get some food rather than try to bed down with a full service going on around me. The lobster starter was excellent & i skipped directly to the s'mores dessert which was a bit stodgy & lacking in any marshmallow filling. Dinner was cleared quickly & the lights turned off for a good 4 hours kip.

Landing was a good 30 mins early & for once the gate was *almost* clear. we did taxi round in a circle briefly while another aircraft was pushed back from our gate but we were still early which left me with a 3 hour layover so it was off to Revivals for a shower & breakfast before heading over to T5 for my connecting BA flight to MAN
