on my flight from MIA-LHR last week i ordered a G&T, which came with not one, but three slices of lime!

Yes, one has to be very careful and ask for lime otherwise you get lemon :0
To be fair, its three slices of limes. I'd like to see the G&T with three full limes floating in it. Served in a pint glass?

Once I asked for another G&T after the meal had finished and was brought a nice glass tumbler that was literally full to the brim -- of gin! I was given a couple of cans of tonic which I could only add as the gin diminished. I knew that I was being given this to keep me quiet -- and it worked. On that occasion I quickly passed the point of caring what fruit they put in the drink...
even rarer is that i didn't even ask, it came properly limed
