Flying BDA(Bermuda)/LGW mid Sept in WTP and have been given upgrade offer to CW for £399 (this is just inbound leg).

Any thoughts on whether this represents a good price?

If I had four hundred squid, I'd jump at it. I don't recall anyone ever posting anything similar offered by VS.

Sounds like a good deal. I think a Y to PE upgrade at the airport is £250 one way.

If its an overnight flight, should be able to get some rest.

Yep! Just grabbed it:D

Wasn't sure of comparative price compared to normal upgrades - doing various experiments, I do indeed see this is a very good price...

Now, will be very interesting to compare UC on-board service with CW...

Thanks for everyone's - encouragement!

I would be interested in reading what you thought of CW. We are going CW with BA to the Maldives and would like to hear how it compares with UC.

Hope you have a great time.

Just got back from this trip, and will be writing up a TR shortly.

The very short answer is - CW is very good, but UC would have the edge, just, setting all aspects of price/route aside.

All in my opion, which is naturally coloured by my own likes and dislikes which will usually be ever so slightly different to other's.

You'll enjoy it, I'm sure of that.

Right then, must get on with that TR!
