Hi all

I recently flew with Virgin and my Daughter and her partner, both of which were introduced to the flying club by me. I received 2000 flying club mile for my daughter’s partner but not for my daughter. I've contacted Virgin only to be told that she did not use to link form the miles more friend email to join the flying club so her account is not linked to mine.

This totally incorrect, we followed all the correct procedures as we did with my daughter’s partner.

Virgin has basically told me there is nothing I can do. Feel totally peed off now; I was on the phone feeling as if I was lying to them. I know it’s only 2000 miles but it’s the principle that’s really bugging me.

Dose anyone have advice on how I can get there mile that are genuinely owed to me, after all, it must have been a problem there end if things went wrong as I followed all the correct procedures, I've even sent Virgin a copy of the email she originally received form the flying club asking her to join as I've introduced her.

Thanks in advance.

I understand you feel mad about it but my advice is let it go. It is not worth the stress for a couple of thousand miles. It is hard to argue with the computer - we all know computers are never wrong !!

My advice get a VS credit card - buy something and you get 6000 miles.
