:$ :$ :$

I hear the CH is now serving a blended, mouth watering, cherry tomato and gravy mojito, dedicated to Sir Slinky!

): ): :$

If that comes muddled with mint I am up for it!

Whether you admit it or not there is a

definite clique on here and, as I clearly don't know UC etiquette I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb in the CH and on-board.
I'm out of my league here so "turning right" and just going to lurk quietly.

Just be yourself. Be sensible and you've no need to worry about what anyone else thinks. It's just the club house for golds and business class passengers. No one will give two hoots about you as it's full drunken alcoholics anyway :D

VS086 LAS-MAN 14 July

Anyway, I had the lobster salad starter which wasn't great but it was edible, far better than the seafood starter on the way out.

Then I opted for the beef which as expected was cremated, not the best but as I was hungry I ate the lot. My mash was lumpy too :D but taste wise it wasn't too bad.

Cheesecake for desert and I asked for and got seconds, it was nice. Portions were pretty small though.

For breakfast I just had some bananas and the fruit & youghurt. I wasn't sure if I should go for this fearing a huge serving of yoghurt but I had nothing to worry about as it was one of the smallest scoops of youghurt I think I've seen served :D

5/10

OT - The flight time was just 8 hrs 30 mins which was seriously impressive (they had time to make up from being nearly two hours late to depart).

Yes the new chicken dish is very popular with everyone. :)

Ha ha :D

Calm Down Dear it's only a menu!

But to be practical

(1) the menu dosen't always change on the 1st of the month

(2) anyone who is currently enjoying it will still be in flight and not in a position to post it !

Flying with my 12yo nephew so want to make sure there is something he will eat!

The menu should change any day now if it hasn't done so already. It should definitely be in by the 14th

On board the VS19 and sadly the new menu is not on board, so no update from me ... And a bit boring really 'cos I am a bit bored of the current one! Will update on the turn if I can, although Tinks might get there first!

I was in the JFK clubhouse last night and I asked to see the menu for my flight, VS46 to LHR. The waitress gave me the first one below which was marked (in pen) for VS46 and VS10.

When I got on board they had a different one :) which I think is the older version. It was labelled "cycle 1 Summer 2011" with the list of flight numbers. Onboard the FSM jokingly said that's the way Virgin do it .... somewhat haphazardly. Its all part of the charm :)

The fillet steak was very tasty BTW.

You can click on the images to enlarge them. Let me know if you can't read the text and I'll type it up.

On board I was given this one:
