Nothing specific to traveling UC. Of course usually travel etiquette should be used, plus of course common courtesy that you would use and expect to receive in everyday life.

Enjoy the experience - you'll never want to fly any other way.

Another question.
Are there any rules or etiquette specific to travelling UC?
Thanks

Can someone tell that to the soon to be Mrs rdm..........

Despite having upgraded to UC from PE when coming back from MBJ in March she "doesn't see the point" in going UC when we head to California for our honeymoon road trip!!! :0 :0 :0

Perhaps, although it probably wouldn't make for an enjoyable 3 weeks driving around California and may well end up with her starting down the track of making herself the future ex-Mrs rdm soon after we get home!!! ;)

Oh dear! Doesn't she realise that she's well on her way to be the never-to-be Mrs rdm. There you are wanting to spoil her and she's throwing it back in your face. v( Going to California in UC will be so much better than a return from MBJ. Better Clubhouses even if you come back from LAX - the NZ shared lounge isn't that bad by all accounts, the private security channel in LHR with treatments in the Spa and much more. She'll love it. You obviously think she's worth it so go ahead and spoil her (and yourself). After all weddings are stressful and you both deserve the relaxation

OK, have you enough reasons now? :D

Just watch out for pastry lurking in eclairs ... and please do not demote the soon to be Mrs rdm to PE, I am sure she'll get the hang of it after some practice in UC!

RDM - I'm you have my total empathy... trying to persuade Mrs Ratechaser to travel anything other than Y is like trying to nail jelly to the ceiling. And not only y, but the absolute cheapest bucket going, so not even a chance of using my rapidly accumulatim miles to upgrade with. The current excuse is that the children 'are too young to appreciate it' - which is always exposed as a lie when they walk past PE and ask why they can't have a big seat for once... Harrumph!

I think we need a 'marriage guidance' forum on here where the wise ones can take 'other halves' to task on their unreasonable attitudes!

UC is just to same airplane, but you're sitting in a bigger space and will receive an upgraded service.

Be yourself, you have the same right as anyone else to be there.

Have fun!

Well of course, wearing a double-breasted blazer and cravat are de rigueur (think Nicholas Parsons and you'll be somewhere close). Work from the outside in when it comes to cutlery and only ever address the crew by their surname. Just a few pointers, but they should put you right.

Is Jeaves still on the CC payroll?

I did actually once see a chap dressed like that though in PE. I think he also had a panama hat too.

Must of thought that was the way to get an upgrade to UC. His wife was something on the telly (This Morning? a Loose Woman?) - again probably hoping for a move forward.

I recently played the "i'm going in PE regardless of how you wish to travel" card, and it fell on deaf ears until I found out I would need to ring someone and do two separate bookings. Then he came round to my way of thinking.....but only one way. They say it's all about the compromise in a relationship......

That was probably me Tonty after I had also been a recipient of advice from Mr Vipond. :( :(

Unfortunately the PE tickets are already booked so no CH & no turning left upon boarding n( To make matters worse there's no upgrade prices on Manage My Booking in case the future Mrs rdm changes her mind.

Ho hum. Despite this serious flaw the future Mrs rdm is still a far better person than the ex-Mrs rdm!!!! :D :D :D
