Has anyone tried a Shellac manicure in the CH (or anywhere else?).
I usually have the "ordinary" French but by day 3 I've usually got some chipping (and have been known to smudge a finger or two even before leaving the spa :(! ). Given that I will be away for just over a couple a weeks it sounds a great solution. Anybody had an experience of one?

Hi,

I had a shellac manicure & pedicure in the LHR clubhouse in the middle of August - my manicure lasted for almost 2 weeks despite being submerged in the pool for hours each day!! My pedicure is still going strong!!! Hope this helps x

Ps they also give you an aftercare pack to remove it - saves you having to pay elsewhere to have it done.

Just an update but I had a French Shellac done two weeks ago in the CH. 4 flights later (hauling bags around airports and in and out of hire cars),in and out of water (I'm in Hawaii :D ) and general brutal wear and tear and it still looks immaculate with no chipping or peeling. Granted the nail base has grown a bit but as it's a French it's not noticeable. Absolutely awesome :D . I might try and get another somewhere when I head back to LA tomorrow en route back to Blighty.

Just a further update -I've still not needed to have this re- done. Twenty three days later and it still looks unblemished with the French tips still all intact (and looking like new :D ). I'd definitely recommend one of these :) .
