Air Mauritius

Hi,

A friend of mine is soon to be travelling on Air Mauritius in Business class and I wondered if anyone had experience of this product?

Not flown with MK for years. From what I read recently the airline has gone downhill in recent years with political problems in the management.

Their fleet is quite young, mainly Airbus. AFAIK their J product is big reclining seats - I'm sure I've seen a TR on FlyerTalk?

The J class lounge at MRU is a nice haven from the main departures lounge (which is small with only about 4 or 5 gates) - nice snacks and free Wifi.

The last time I went to Mauritius we looked at AM but their biz class was akin to PE, now they have lie flat seats, somewhat like the old J2000 seat on VS, see here. I think you're most likely to get the A343 from LHR.
