Just been looking at some of the photos at the bottom of the page and can't quite figure out how the UC seats work.
From what I can see, you've this little box thing (side panelled) you sit it, with a seat, screen at 90 degrees to your seating position and possibly a small seat/chair elsewhere for some reason.

Are there different styles that I'm getting confused with?

How exactly are you supposed to sleep / recline in thewse things anyway? Do they rotate or something?

Exactly that. When the seat is fully reclined, it flips over 180 degrees to reveal your bed.

If you want, this is done by a crew member while you are getting changed. Very painless process. [8D]

As for the Tv, it flips out and it is easy to adjust to your favoured position.

Just think of it this way. The seat back (i.e. what you lean on when you sit) as two surfaces.
In the up-right position, you have a leather seat on that surface. You can move the seat back to 90 or recline it back to about 60 degrees or so.

You then have to physically get up off the seat. When you please the appropriate button, the seat back the fold forwards; leather seat back fold over leather seat itself. What you then have is the "back" of the seat back which is the soft matteress. The small area behind the seat back is also made of the soft matteress material. This gives you the bed.

The small chair is really a foot stool in the seated position and where you put your feet when you sleep (i.e. the end of the bed). The top of the seat back meets the foot stool bit perfectly when it is folded down to form a complete bed.

Quite clever really.

Just in case you're in any doubt - I am 6 foot tall and 18 stone "wide" and can sleep for 7+ hours in/on it!

Well, ably assisted by some pre flight lounge "activity" [:o)][:o)][y]

My only problem is that they are not long enough and my legs end up on the top of the seat back of the ottoman. :-(
