Only John Culshaw when we flew back from Vegas, last week. Years ago when we came home from LAX David LLoyd and some mysterious blonde woman with so many minders and she was in dark glasses and big hat you could not see who it was.

John Culshaw is a 'comedian' and 'impressionist'

No one on the Virgin flights Ive been on but a close encounter with Joe McElderry on a BA domestic flight. Very nice, genuine guy. Him and his mum were very friendly to us.

Only knew it was him because the flight was packed with youngsters who instantly screamed Joe as soon as we got on board (loaded from the rear that day so he had to walk through the crowd of squeeing girls!)

I hope so, I've got tickets to see Motorhead in November :)

You should have had a chat with him Vizbiz, I've met him a couple of times and he's always had time for a quick chat, especially if the drink is flowing oo)

Actually he was, Slinky... he & his companion helped out two very stressed out parents (us) deal with a very hyper adhd child (son the younger) while signing autographs from a star struck crew and let other passengers take photos of him. I think we were the only people on the flight that treated him as a normal person (and no we didn't get any autographs).

Zero help and tolerance from anyone else around us.

Lionel Blair on a flight back from LAX about 10 years ago... the woman sat next to him (pre suite days) wouldn't stop talking to him! She sounded American so clearly had no idea who he was. Quite amusing to see that the further the flight went on, the more fed up he was looking.

And Phil Tuffnell on a flight to MIA- but this time i didn't realise who it was until i was told later on :D

I sat next to Theo Walcott (Arsenal) in UC on my way back from Vegas in June, he slept for 99% of the flight. There were also a number of premier league footballers (no real big names) upstairs in PE.

Do you know.....l wouldn't recognise some of these so called celebrities these days....:)
A couple of years ago l found myself talking to a very nice guy on a transatlantic crossing who told me he was a musician.
Oh...l stated....is that your full time job or just a sort of hobby.........oops..
The guy in question was Lenny Kravitz.......and even when he told us his name l was still non the wiser!
Think he must have had a bit of a giggle......our daughter was mortified when l told her!
Amazing what age can do hmm!
Getting back on thread, the last time we flew VS, we were sat by Ian St John in the good old Club Orlando bubble.......and thereby hangs another tale!

OK I had to look up Ian St John ... but your tale reminded me of a similar situation, sitting at the bar on the way to SFO talking to a charming TOWIE-type (in accent only), only after did a CC member tell me it was David Essex ...

Did he promise to 'make you a star' ?

Didn't he do some god awful (but no doubt ladies of a certain age enjoyed it) BBC1 sitcom set on a canal boat?

last time i flew (July) the whole Chelsea squad & staff were in the CH on their way to their summer tour. On my return to LHR the whole Spurs squad were being ferried through security at T5.

in immigration at MIA i was stood next to Justin Lee Collins who had been on the same flight but i hadn't noticed him.

in the CH at various times i've seen Jon Snow, Rob Brydon, the girl who played the receptionist in The Office & who's name i forget, Nick Leeson (disgraced banker). their was a very impressive looking sheik will full entourage who went up to the skydeck which was immediately closed off

Seen a few, normally on flights to LAX and in the CH from memory, the only one I got excited about was Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, shows my age and taste of music there. A special mention for Denise van Outen, an unexpected delight to speak to.
TBH - They have been very well behaved for celeb types, just going about their business. I did have one slightly embarrassing time. There was a party of four, two adults and two children, the children were toddlers, no more than 5 years old I would say. They decided to play a game of peek-a-boo with me. I was happy to play along. After spending a good 30 mins interacting with the kids and both their parents I went to bar, only for one of the CC to ask me "So how is Lisa Maria Presley??? Is she nice" - Guess I wouldn't know the King of Rock and Rolls daughter if she was 2 feet (or one suite) away!!
