You'd be in more than safe hands with HL and myself. I'll leave the singing to her though - I can't hold a note :w .....

As to the behaviour of some people in the CH. It is quite different for an AU/UC pax to get themselves totally bladdered and for them to be banned from the the CH by VS than it is for a guest to get bladdered and they get their 'innocent' host banned or into trouble.

I beg to differ. If I am a guest (by ticket, membership or invitee) what difference does it make to me if it is the AU/UC pax who gets "bladdered" or the guest? Both are annoying and irresponsible. My experience has been much more of the UC passenger who has one too many in the CH and then adds in an unwise additional number after turning left. Loud, obnoxious, bar stool sitters 'way past lights out; everyone rolls their eyes as they try to tune them out.

You may have misnderstood the point I was making.

I am in no way excusing anyone getting drunk and disruptive - either in the CH or on board - but I was raising the issue of the host taking responsibility for their guest - and if the guest misbehaves the host then possibly having to take any consequences of that - which is why some people are reluctant to offer open invitations to the CH to people they do not know in some way.

Some people (like you) are happy to host (and therefore take responsibility and any consequences for) a guest they don't know but others aren't as happy to do that.
