I would really like to join my hubby for lunch/dinner on our flights, but how comfortable will we be.
I would have to sit on the ottoman as Mr CL is quite a bit bigger than me!
Is there ample room for us both at the table or is it a bit tight.

Would appreciate your thoughts and preferences.
Thank You

It's absolutely fine. The size of the table easily accommodates two people. I've done it myself several times when traveling with family and friends

I can second that. I have eaten both sides of the table and its fine. You would not want to sit there for for several hours, but whist eating its no problem. I have also eaten at the bar with my OH which they are quite happy to accommodate if you want.

I can third Martin and HL. It's fun and one of the few times you can converse with your partner without getting a crick in your neck.

...and I'll fourth the above comments, lol.
It's much nicer than eating alone at your table, eating in the UCS can feel a little solitary at times IMHO, and whilst the space available isn't huge it is adequate.......

I agree with the comments above -- there's plenty of room and it's comfortable enough. The ottoman even has a seat-belt which you can put on if the flight gets choppy.

I agree that using the otterman for dining is fine as is the bar. I think the UC seat isnt great when travelling with your partner, although it is good if alone.

Yes do so- very pleasant to eat at my wife's table and with an empty cabin it was pretty much silver service!
