Think this is going to turn into a rant....
*deep breath before I let Gerry loose at VS*

Ok so I log onto my booking and check my seats and note that the upgrade this sector section on my return leg gives me the option to upgrade to PE for £126 or to UC for £369. I decide to upgrade to PE for the nice sum of £126, I click on the button and I get the nice little loading screen page and then I get you can no longer upgrade, ok not a problem Lets push the boat out and splash out on upgrading to UC sod it gonna do it click on the upgrade to UC button and low and behold the same happens. I log out and then back in the 2 options are back so i try again... and get the same issues.

Now I noticed yesterday the price to upgrade to PE was £235 pounds and to UC £569 so there has been a drop in price.

I decide to call up UC Reservations and all i get told is that the reason I can have the upgrade is that I am in the Z class basically bucket UC class... Fair enough I under stand that...
But surly if Im not allowed to upgrade the buttons should not be there....

Im so frustrated it unreal....
I also got told to phone customer relations tomorrow and speak to them.... is that a wise option...

Any thought or comments or any help would be great!

cheers

Okay and a update....
Called VS UC reservations back spoke to a wonderful lady called Kirsty (Mods I asked if i can quote her name and she did say yes)
Explained what was happening and she tried doing the online upgrade on her system and it didn't work she apologized and Popped me on hold to see if she could sort it and after about 10 mins of being on hold and an apology for keeping me on hold she managed to do a manual upgrade after checking the price I quoted her was correct, and done it slightly cheaper then online.
What can I say a wonderful service by the VS staff again the second time around.
As a lot of people say if you get the right staff that are happy to help and understand the system they use the customer service you get is second to none!

Great result!

However, it really is touch and go when calling VS - on any line, some staff understand the concept of "great" customer service - and others...well...I wonder how some still have their jobs!!

Anyway, did you get the UC upgrade in the end or stick with PE?

I stuck with PE....
Could not really justify the extra cost to upgrade to UC.

I agree with you Cal346 it can be touch and go spoken to the first person, could not be bothered called again got through to Kirsty and she could not do enough to help out and get the problem sorted.
5*'s to Kirsty for the service... And Gerry is happy too!

have to say the move back to the UK from India has made telephone 'dealings' a lot more user friendly. anytime i have to call they are fantastically helpful and friendly.

well done on the upgrade

yeah I have noticed that too....
It seems if you have a do not get a helpful and friendly member of staff like i did last night call back and then you tend to get a wonderful person that is so helpful. it has happened to me a few times over the years....
