Changes to VA Amex Card

They do indeed. There is a whole world out there with us pax and FC members being "monetised" at every turn. VS spoke at at the "Ancillary Revenue World" conference last year and I heard they said how lucrative it was. I wasn't there, but I am fairly sure that every time we ... apply for a credit card, hire a car, book a hotel, buy anything from an FC partner ... the list must go on, then Virgin will get a percentage.

What would happen though, if one card was stolen? Logic would suggest they'd cancel both, as they're linked to the same account?

Also just logged in to my Amex account and it looks like they are going to issue 2 new cards as my card numbers changed as well.So that means the hassle of changing all my online details with the providers i use my Amex card through.Don't you just love it

Yes the original letter said they would re-issue cards - which annoyed me as they had only just given me a new card.

That'll be disappointing, my current card ends in 747....

New black cards arrived today, time to get spending.

Got mine today as well, the AMEX though is a different card number to my original one so have spent about an hour logging in everywhere to change payment details on various stuff!!!

On another note the AMEX has in the top left corner the words PLUS+ but the Visa doesn't. Anyone know what it means?
