Changes to Amex Preferred Rewards Gold Card

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, so here's some information on changes to the Amex Gold card..

1. Two complimentary lounge passes per annum from LoungeClub (mostly Servisair, but No1 at Gatwick & Stansted,

2. Two points per pound on petrol and supermarket spend for a year (errr...wasn't that the onboarding offer for the Gold card anyway)

3. 7,500 points on anniversary if £15,000 spent in preceding year

...oh, and

4. Annual fee up from £95 to £125. :w

I suppose the two lounge invitations will cover the increase in fee, and I like the bonus points at supermarkets and for petrol. I will stick with the plat for another year, but that is a good fall back. y)
