my daughter skyped me today to say she had just got a nice compensation cheque from when some foreign lorry driver wrote off her car a year ago on the M25. she has decided to invest some on a ticket to Fla to stay with us for Xmas.
anyway normally she would fly BA into Tampa (fare £800) but I decided to check VS with her while we were talking.
EC was £783 BUT just out of curiosity I checked PE while she started the booking - £976 return. so less than £100 extra each way. it was such a bargain I told her to book it there and then -which she did. She then got a one way UC offer for an extra £700. i checked this out and while i was doing this in the short time it took the PE fare had nearly doubled to over £1600.
so she is one happy girl getting PE both ways over Xmas at less than a grand.
