does anyone remember when VS reduced July/August 2011 PE pri

I am looking to book PE out LHR-SFO then return LAX-LHR during July / August 2012

Does anyone remember in what months in 2011 that VS had sales reducing PE prices for July/August 2011
Was it in the New Year sale or later in 2011 ?

I know they could be different for 2012.

Just because VS has done something in the past doesn't mean they will do the same in the future.

And don't forget there is a rather large sporting event happening in the UK next July and August and that will have an effect on prices due to the numbers of extra travellers wanting to visit (and leave!) the country during that time.

I think the Olympics will have a massive impact on the lack of sales next summer, the demand is going to be phenomenal and airlines just won't need to have sales.
