Has anyone travelled on this yet? Or pics?

Sorry to be a 'why didn't you search' type person, but the specogna pinot grigio has taken hold..

I'm on the 300 to delhi tomorrow and I've just confirmed it's A343 with suite.

Oh the suite joy of it.

glad you're enjoying the wine!

I think you're safe from being flamed - I dont think there's been a TR or any pictures as yet of the UCS A343....

Have a nice trip - and take your camera!

Rich.

The chianti seems to be making me appreecitate yore predicament with the pinot grigot - hic!

I searched and came up with a blank, so a full TR with your photos would be great.

Flamed on V-Flyer??? The very thought!! :) The worst you get here is a subtle (ish) hint about the location of the search button. [}:)];)

Have a great trip, Jonathan. We will look forward to a TR. I haven't been at the wine, but when I first read that you have dropped your D70 on Cat Deeley, I had visions of her being squashed by a bloody big Volvo [:I][:o)]

Flown on it, B Zone is very nice. A Zone is good, makes a 346 UCS look very long! I far prefer the 343 UCS layout to that of the 346 - it is cosy and very first class.

Hmph! I was to fly out on it at the end of the month to IAD but they've only gone and changed it back to an ordinary 343 [:(!]

I can actually feel the VS love here. Right now. There is love in this virtual forum.

That's why I keep coming back for more.

I'm also delighted to have just retained my Au membership, down to that paid for F updgrade coming back from Singapore on business recently - remember I asked you all about it? (life on SQ is sweet - krug or caviar?)... now there's a TR that I still haven't authored.

Thanks, you lot are lovely.

As for the D70, shucks - Volvo? Are you kidding? My lot has just won the Jaguar account- you'll be seeing me in an XK at T3 before you know it.

You won't find a bigger upseller of the ole' v-flyer than moi. J'etaime.

enough.

Thanks, Lloyd. BTW did you by any chance do a TR on the trip that we could refer back to here?

I think that the A343 J cabin will be much more preferable to the A346 as it won't be so elongated and will look more like an F cabin, especially the B zone:D

Simply lovely.

Just back from India, outbound WAS the UCS on the A340. Have also uploaded 5 pics of the cabin to the gallery. Apologies in advance for the blur. To be honest I was a bit hammmered, and it was dark and I didn't want to use the flash as I felt like a bit of a dork and it was my first time for V-Flyer. Not sure how long pics take to get 'approved'...

A totally GORGEOUS Virgin flight (shame the return was a nightmare)

Thanks for the pics Jonathan, it does look more cosy than its bigger brother. Have you tried tweaking the pics in Photoshop, can work wonders when the flash is failing or even absent.

Any chance of a trip report? Or details of why the return was a nightmare?!

The pictures do look very good, just hoping that some more aircraft will be done ready for my trip to Cape Town in March, as that will be on an A343.

The cabin itself looks better than the -600s, although i think the lack of v:port makes a big difference once you're in the seat.

TR's posted. The cabin on the A343 is the best UCS I've been on to be honest (and I've done em all). Smelt new, intimate, proud staff. Lovely.
