VS17 - PE service

Hey all, we're travelling PE on the VS17 and just wanted to check out what meal service I can expect.

Having read the TR forum, I understand that it's combined meal and drinks, followed by a pre-landing snack but no icecream as you get on the other NYC flights?

Yes that's correct.

It felt very odd having sandwiches 90 minutes before landing as many had been asleep and breakfast would have been more appropriate!

I don't remember any ice cream.

Combined drinks and meal service in PE as you know - no ice-cream though and agree with Cal346 that it does seem strange to be served sandwiches at what is around 3am UK time after a sleep....

So is the service the same as the other NYC flights except minus the ice cream? Bit disappointed if so, thought they might swap it for something.
