We had decided to travel down to LHR the day before or VS flight to SFO.
This was the only part of our journey that l really wasn't looking forward to as my last experience of T3 at MAN had been a nightmare :|

Having stayed over at the airport the night before, we enjoyed a relaxing morning before heading to the terminal.
I had completed OLCI and also pre selected our seats at extra cost, wouldn't do that again as the aircraft wasn't full, but one never knows!

T3 was amazingly quiet. BA check in was also very quiet and we dropped our bags very quickly, with staff being in party mood as it was Halloween .....bit strange though when we were greeted by ghostbusters! But great fun and it put us in holiday mode!

Sped through security and headed for the bar.....needed my Dutch courage fix ;)
Following a couple of very welcome drinks and a light snack for Mr CL we made for the gate.
Boarding was very refined.....please bear in mind here that we travel several times a year to Portugal on the bucket and spade airlines....so are used to folk pushing and shoving a bit v(

Welcomed on board with a big smile and a warm welcome. Crew were spot on and it felt good and relaxing.....very important to me as a nervous flyer.
Settled into our seats, quite comfortable and decent leg room.
Soon air borne and the crew sprang into action with a drinks round.....blimey they had us all served very quickly and again with big smiles.

Not long of course before we were on descent into LHR.
T5 was very quiet and our bags were out within fifteen minutes.

All in all a great service and l would most certainly fly with BA again, thoroughly enjoyable and a good deal at £86 for the two of us.

those MAN-LHR BA flights are always good for service, although not much can go wrong on a 30 minute flight. Why they even bother with a drink & snack service is beyond me
