Sorry if this has been posted anywhere already... but not all of these are mentioned on the VS special offers page!

For travel between the 20th and 30th December (return latest 12th Jan) there's a lot of UC fares available for £1006... New York, San Francisco, LA.. Probably more destinations too, some bargains there gotta say!

Just wish I was able to take advantage of them!

Wow! There are some incredible fares there. Hong Kong for £1009, JNB for £1006, Tokyo the same. I'm really sorry now that I have a trip to Dubai coming up on Jan 12

Cal346 wrote:Wow UC to LAS.for £985 from MAN, that's what I call a sale fare!!

I checked it out. It's only available on about 4 dates! Mostly with a return on a Thursday, although there is one with a Sunday return

How can you book a UC fare for a flight on 20th December when according to the T&Cs you have to book 28 days in advance :? :? :?

I wondered that and did a dummy booking for the 20th and it worked! y)

Virgin Holidays also have some crazy Upper Class offers on packages as well :0

Just checked the same dates I fly to IAD (out Dec 28th back Jan 1st) and believe it or not, return Upper Class upgrades are now less than Premium Economy upgrades???????:

Premium economy return upgrade = £570.24
Upper Class return upgrade = £452.48

Guess who's calling V Hols tomorrow to see if I can change my IAD trip from PE to Upper!!

Bah, I've booked like 6 months in advance for a NY break in PE in Vegas and now they've offered the lowest UC flights for years.

If they gave me a chance of an upgrade I'd end up paying the 2Kish total price for a UC (including my PE ticket). But they don't.

It concerns me though that it seems that a whole lot of flights seems to be reserved for Virgin Holidays, I bet if I'd booked via them, I'd be sitting with a UC ticket...

If you booked with VS, why not just call and ask to upgrade? If there is availabIlity of Z class then they'll just upgrade your K to Z with you paying the difference! I've done thi many times!

Watch out for those T's & C's...at bottom of the page :w

Especially point 2:

Damn those local taxes, especially when you have to pay before you've even booked :0 ):

Another fine execution VS oo)

Some amazing prices!

I think the fares match the BA £2012/pair fares -- presumably an Olympic tie-in.

I am sure we discussed the 28-day rule last time there was a quick UC sale. For these very special offers the detailed fare rules waive that condition. No complaints from me!

LA fares from £1006 - with travel up to Dec 2012 - wonder if that's a typo? Very tempting...

VS proof reading strikes again!

Looking for a wee birthday present for yourself were you??

And on the Asia Lowest Fares page the HK UC link takes you to the Shanghai page!

BTW I don't like this sale fares section on the new site. I get lost in the navigation.

Corking. I booked the vegas NY in PE over 6 months ago from Gatwick, and for the change fee + 130 quid, I now fly from the (closer airport) of) Manchester in Upper.

Top job v-flyer, you've made my New Year!

Checked with V Hols today and they said a big fat no and are using that fantastic 'new customers only' excuse. Thought it was only banks and Sky TV that used that one!!!!
