Hi all,

Have just found this site and hoping someone out there has the answer to my question.

Have booked a Cruise with Celebrity for April this year and our flights are returns to Miami with Virgin booked through Celebrity.
Paid the balance last week and asked for the locator reference so could pre book seats, Celebrity said i would have to agree to my terms and conditions being changed and agree the flights once paid would mean if i cancel i will be liable for the full cost of flights, they say usually they do not pay for the flight part of the holiday until about five weeks before travel. I sent them a email agreeing to the change.

Phoned again today and they gave me my locator reference so assume Virgin have been paid. But was told i would not be able to access the seat booking till six weeks before travel. Have tried online but to no avail. I thought once i had the locator number i would be able to book seats.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise.

Hi Debbie I am open to stand corrected but to the best of my knowledge I think your booking has to be 'Ticketed' before you can access Manage my Booking. You would have been given a locator as whether your booking is ticketed or not they still have to hold your seats under a reference. I assume the 6 weeks they refer to is when they will ticket your booking in order for you to do seating etc. Hope this helps. As I say if any of it is wrong im sure a fellow V-Flyer will correct me.
