Im flying PE from LGW to LAS, just wondering which seats to avoid or which seats are the best to select from? Understand the seat numbers are changing with the re-fit but as a single traveller just wondered where would be best to sit when they open up seat selection during olci, when i've travelled economy i've always sat next to the aisle so I dont need to disturb anybody and im free to get up whenever I like. Am I right in saying the seats next by the emergency exit in pe don't have a window on the 747-400? Also are the last row of seats up against any kind of bulkhead which will restrict the amount you can recline?

Sorry for all the questions, 1st time in PE and want to make sure I get my moneys worth! :P

Hi Ian

Its not just the seat numbers that are changing, its the whole PE cabin(s) so until a seat map of the refurbed planes are released it's pretty impossible to recommend seats.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your flight y)

Thanks for the reply David, Could we assume for this post that the planes haven't had the refurb? As im flying in May I would assume i've got more of a liklihood getting a non re-fitted plane?

That is or react, the first refitte a/c is only due in to service at some point in April, so it is much greater chance you will be on a current config a/c.

On the current config, any seat upstairs is great, although many members, myself included would choose 79A/C if available.
