What am I doing wrong Penny, maybe its me? For what seems like 2 weeks I've been entering LHR-LAX /5th May / 4 pax / UC / spend miles. The calendar comes up fine showing which dates in May are available (as 5th isn't) but when selecting any of those dates followed by 'show flights' a message comes us saying "We have been unable to process your request. You can either return to the homepage and we'll keep your search details so you don't have to fill them in again, or contact Reservations" Just tried 1 min ago and it's exactly the same.

Incidentally I've tried via 'Book Flight' on the left hand menu and via what you get if clicking 'Home'.

Thanks
James

EDIT: Just tried it for a totally different flight and date (Orlando in June) and exactly the same message appears ?|

I've that before and the trick is just to enter valid dates from the calendar )(once the available dats have been displayed) rather than using the little radio buttons.

It's been a long term bug and VS have been told about it but we all know what they are like.

Thanks Tonty, what an absolute joke though...so we need a little note book to jot down all the date possibilities then start search from scratch! I just can't get my head round how they allow these bugs to go unchecked in a live/production environment!

There are also lots of duff links in the 'new' part of the website too that don't take you to the detailed page you expect but to generic page that say describes UC

I've told them about a couple of them (using the 'rate the page' function) but I get the impression they don't look at those or of they do can't be ar@ed to correct them.

Just noticed the price I was watching on some seats has been lowered now the sale is over ;-)
Wonder if they are lowering the fares LOL

Yes absolutely true. The price of our fares purchased recently in the sale, have actually reduced by £11 pp.
Just goes to show, act in haste as the saying goes... ii) ii) but on the other hand they could have increased by £11 :).

Agree about the 'sale' fares being more expensive - the DXB flight in June I'm looking at is £20 cheaper than yesterday (although the MPM equivalent is even more expensive now - £79 to be precise...). I figure leave it another month and I'll get it for free...

As for the website, I can't damn it any more than previous posts have. Total shambles...
