In UC, the crew tapes up notes on each side of the galley with notes on each pax's name, FC status, meal choices, etc.

They sometimes indicate status with numeric codes: 6, 7, 8, and 9, corresponding to the same digits found in FC account numbers (7 apparently being high status on a partner).

On my last flight, the notes on one side were written out such as "Gold," "Silver," etc. There were a few I couldn't decipher: "SOO" or "500" and another one that escapes me at the moment.

Does anybody know what the longhand ones all mean?

So they don't Op-Up that pax ahead of a fare paying pax?

Only under exceptional circumstances can crew op-up a passenger. Op-ups are normally allocated by ground staff for obvious reasons.

If you're gold but have used miles we will have no idea of your fc status as the manifest will have the generic 00500 code next to your name which may be why sometimes (not always) fc members are not acknowledged.

Thanks for info.

I have noticed even on miles upgrade my real FC number now appears on the boarding pass (not the 00500).
Does this mean that the manifest the real number is alsoo now showing ?
