Only guessing because MIA return UC has gone up £800 overnight, and SFO has gone up £1000 for June time Not looked at others.

Hopefully it's a temporary thing instead of waiting for a "sale". v(

Also, a question for Pete/the mods, at what time is the "Fare Watch" updated every day? As still showing the lower fares, so must be after 05:00.

There was a sale on till Feb 2nd so the fares are reverting to normal.

I know because I was surprised at the fares to SFO a couple of days ago and checked on the VS website. The sale was due to finish last night.

That would explain it, I remember now, sale was extended. Feel silly now :o) but will blame it on being early in the morning.

As usual, they call it a sale, but at the prices on the site, it is an 'unsale' with from 900 quid economy and from 1400 Premium Economy, they surely can be done on the term 'sale'.

Compared to what? Fully flexible tickets? I've bought L's to LAX cheaper than that Economy fare...

New York lowest fares
Book by 09 February 2012:
Economy from £376
Premium Economy from £653
Upper Class from £1778

Can't find any trace of Upper fares from £1778. VS IT gremlins strike again

Looking at the Fare Watch tool on the homepage the lowest NY fares are £2391!

Fantastic work by the VS Marketing Team yet again!

Indeed there's a bit of a hash ... the special offers page shows economy only sale fares to the US, then click though on US and Canada, and you get Economy, PE and Upper to many destinations all bookable to 9 February, then say click on New York (which it says has all three), and you get Economy and PE details, then try to book Upper and there are no sale fares ...

This really is Keystone Cops like marketing behaviour, so unjoined up!

You'd think they would have spent the time updating the 'snow chaos' page which hasn't been updated in more than 24 hours.
