I wonder can anybody give me advice please
I bought a very cheap flight to MCO from MAN I bought it through ebookers so cant change it with Virgin. I have now discovered there is a flight going earlier in the day VS075 rather than VS073 which I am on .
I wonder if I just turn up early for the early flight would there be any hope of virgin changing without a charge
I have noticed that the load seems to be heavier on the later flight which I am on

Many Thanks in advance JERRY

Hi,

It is very unlikely they will just change your flight without any charge, unless it really suits them to do so. The fact that you booked on to the later flight, I'm guessing that was the cheaper option which would indicate that the earlier VS75 has less available seats, so another reason for them not to want to change you.

Also, the VS75 tends to be the most popular flight and only operates on an A330 instead of a 747, so less seats available in total.

Thanks,
Neil

Well if you have the time to spare and enjoy sitting in a departure lounge you could give it a go. You won't know unless you try. Best thing would be to check the loads a day or two out and if yours is full and the earlier is quiet it may well suit them to do this.

Many thanks for advice. I will have loads of time as arriving to Man at 8:30 from ORK I wonder how do I contact Virgin from Ireland to see what I can do . I dont mind paying a small fee but not able to pay a huge sum . Also I have nice seats blocked off should I hold off in printing boarding pass until I speak to Virgin at the Airport
Great site lads and many thanks for the help so far

Change fees are never 'small'.

You could send an email to customer services.

And even if you want to try and get the earlier flight I would still do OLCI for your original flight otherwise you could loose those too.
