This was the flight booked to replace the LHR-EWR connecting flight which we missed due to the VS652 debacle (I also didn't make the flght for my first ever Seq 1). Our flight to LHR landed almost an hour and a half late, so fearing having to wait till 8 for the next flight we practcally ran through Flight Connections. We made it through quickly enough and found the VS desk where we tried to see if any more seats were available in the PE cabin as neither Mr Tinuks nor myself were too happy about being sat next to the toilets, but sadly none werre available in the same row :(

So straight to the boarding gate we went and thanks to priority boarding avoided the long queue. Wanting to confirm that our bags hadmade it over from the VS652 we spoke to someone who jokingly informed us that our bags have practically not left the plane as t was Bubbles that was VS9 as well. After a bit of a wait at the gate, we eventually boarded and I fell asleep even before taxi.I woke up to eat what could be described as an adequate meal, but passed onn the cheese and onion sandwhich.

I watched a few minutes of a movie and slept again and didn't wake up until the pre-landing snack.

Cabin crew were as usual efficient, friendly and courteous and Mr. Tinuks had a wonderful time except for the nuisance of being next to the lav in 23G. I might have appreciated the flight more but I was tired. Still no matter it's still almost a week of shopping in the New York
