I've not previously been in the JFK clubhouse so haven't got much to compare it with, but its post Departures and open.

5th of March seems to be the opening party, with the likes of SRB, but it is actually open now...

I'm taking pictures.

Just had a very nice trim at the spa, which I've been told is a new thing... Nice chat with the nice lady and there's supposed to be a performer at the opening party, but who that is isn't known to her. They seem much keener to serve than the LGW clubhouse, I didn't try any at the LHR spa, but the other half had nails done...

Ok, working within the bounds of the website, I've resized some pictures and will add the max of 10.

I tried to get pictures without flyers in them, which means now I realise I didn't photograph the bar because it wasn't ever empty, and I got someone in one of them...

So I was supposed to be in London last week for the last time in a while missing the new Clubhouse by one week. However, my trip got moved to the 24th and I am so excited to check out the new lounge which is FINALLY behind security.

Thanks for the photos. Some people like to have surprises but I like to have a preview so I can then look forward to it. If that makes sense ! :?

What a swell party it was. Here are some more pictures from the opening party at JFK last night. VS put on a great bash, sending a car to pick me up from my hotel, through to a group of us ending up at Don't Tell Mama's past midnight!

Big badges to gain entry:

As with all clubhouses it looks lovely at night:

I missed Katie Tunstall singing (was hobnobbing with Joan and Richard ii) , oh here's Richard and myself:

I had several great conversations with some of the VS team responsible for catering, clubhouses, and frequent fliers, they all said the new UCS looks fantastic but wouldn't give me any detail.

The corridor to the loos and showers changes colour, which was cool:

I didn't try the spa but it also looked really good, and overall a much larger and bright space.

He was probably flying in Y and hoping for an invite to the bar...
