Hey Neil

No need to panic as VH normally send their tickets out around 2 weeks prior to departure :D

I would call them if you have not received them at around 7 or 8 days prior to departure.

We travel 2 weeks on Wednesday, we`ve been told not to panic too (BUT I AM-HUBBY SAYS I WORRY TOO MUCH) I can`t help thinking, if they arrive within 7 days and there`s a mistake on them, how is everything going to be changed within 5 working days. Other companies send them out with a few weeks to spare, why should Virgin cut it so tight?

Not with VH as they issue paper etickets (?), accommodation vouchers, car hire and other tickets and they tend to leave it until around 2 weeks prior to departure!

The airline part of the booking is e-ticketed now, but as Petmadness mentioned you still need to hand over accommodation/car hire paper vouchers etc.

Mind you, saying that, on my last VH trip to IAD over the New Year, the hotel never even asked for my voucher. It's still better to have all paperwork with you though.

if the OP is that concernedthere is nothing to stop them phoning VH now and asking when they will be sent out.

Hi Whitey012001, if you have access to Facebook and search for Virgin Holidays, Crawley shows at the top of the list, they do "shout outs" when tickets are being sent. They`ve just done a shout out saying ALL tickets until the end of March will be sent by the end of the week, I don`t know if their end of week is 11th March(Sunday) or 9th March (Friday) all I know is there`s been nothing in our post at all yet, anyday now though hopefully.

Don't go off the online manage booking system (for those that can still access it) as that doesn't update even when tickets are sent out.

Our tickets have arrived this morning, along with a voucher to use Mears transport to and from hotel. Has anyone else used this? Do Mears have a stand of their own? Is it a Taxi or minibus (4 of us travelling) There`s no other info, just this Mears voucher.

Could be taxi, minibus or coach. Which hotel are you at?
The VH Rep should sort you out.
