I see it is back at LGW and makes her first flight back on behalf of VS as a test flight tomorrow.... :)

Seems Barbarella is going on a quick tour of LGW tommrow on flight VS831 :) :) . Hoping to see her jetting off to get refitted so it gives us an idea of the refit time per aircraft. y)

I've merged the "G-VROM welcome back" with this one to keep discussion in the same place

Nice to see Barbarella back :) Flew on this plane back from Orlando in 2003. Maybe we'll get her in May when we go to Florida ;)

Should be heading up to MAN for the new livery on Wednesday or thereabouts before heading on to HKG for refit.

Reading a thread on airliners.net, it seems like AeroSur wanted to keep hold of Barbarella but they couldn't agree terms. Wonder what the reason was - VS wanted their plane back? AeroSur not offering enough money?

Also interesting to note that AeroSur have now ceased operations.

I'd guess that VS couldnt commence the refit program without the return of the extra plane, what with summer schedules coming in and extra flights from Glasgow to MCo, and LGW to CUN the fleet would have been stretched if they hadnt got VROM back.
