After an over night stay at an airport hotel i checked which aircraft thanks to "V-flyer" we arrived at check in to a friendly greeting we were soon checked in and seats were as chosen online. We went to the gate around 11.20 the time of boarding to find the staff running around and what looked like to me vouchers in their hands at 12.00 they made an announcement. Their would be a delay and we would be further updated at 14.00 would you please come and get your £10 food vouchers i looked out at the gate and their was Ladybird with a panel open on number 4 engine! Around 14.00 they announced a further delay until 16.00 i then got on my mobile to find Jersey Girl was on her way up from LGW i asked at the desk if that aircraft was for us, to be asked how do i know then was quietly told yes. We finally started boarding around 15.45 pre flight drink as usual then the captain apologised prior to take off for the delay the reason was the fuel injector on No4 engine was not working but he had changed the flight route to try and make the flight time shorter we left Man at 16.30. Shortly after take off friendly cabin crew came round with drinks then hot towel this time my IFE was working great. After we had our meal which i found acceptable for airline food i then had a walk back to the galley for another drink and to get the cabin crews view on the aircraft upgrades, some think it is going to be half U/C and PE also not happy with a smaller galley. Later in the flight we were brought pizza then ice cream on arrival in Vegas the pilot apologised again for the delay and sorry he did not make time up, then the usual arrival announcement from the cabin crew and hoped we would fly with Virgin Atlantic in the future of course we will!
