Well the VS3 was cancelled yesterday so it could have been a combination of things including light loads. It wasn't because of a problem with the aircraft in JFK because it wasn't there.

Edited to add: If it were a G-VRAY issue then VS would merely have substituted another aircraft

Really? I've been tracking it for the last week as I'm on VS3 tomorrow and was curious to know why I wasn't going on GVRAY - I checked on Vflyer and I thought it had gone yesterday on VS3 route after it returned from Richard Bransons jaunt to Vancouver?

No, a friend of mine was on the VS19 yesterday and posted from the CH on FB that the VS3 had been cancelled and it was also on the Flight Status page on the VS website

Ah ok so any idea why I'm not on her if she's on the ground at Heathrow as she's supposed to be assigned to the 3/4 route? Not that I'm mad or anything Grrrrr ;-) I see she does get a day off now & again!

I've since learned from my friend that it was a late cancellation of the VS3 as they were trying to accommodate passengers from that flight in the CH. Strange that they didn't substitute another aircraft though even though the flight would have left much later.

Perhaps G-VRAY had too much to drink on her inaugural run to YVR :o)

Yep or too much sunshine for Miss Sunshine.
Checked in now looks like I'm on African Queen tomorrow as its an A340-300 and she's on the VS3 run today and returning on Miss Sunshine. :-)
Thanks for your help.

With multiple daily flights NYC must surely be an easy destination to deal with cancellations compared to almost anywhere else on the vs network (assuming loads aren't maxed out)
