Have just booked a long weekend in NYC at the end of August, thanks to the current sale fares. £1200 return in Upper, with Clubhouses at both ends & Revivals at LHR - too good an offer to miss. (I normally fly MAN-MCO-MAN in Upper - with higher fares, shared lounges etc....)

Does anyone on here know of any good hotel offers / offer codes for NYC that are floating round on the internet, before I start to look? I would probably veer towards a Hilton group hotel, as I have HHonors Gold, so stand a decent chance of an upgrade to the next level of room for free.

Thanks!

Have you tried looking on flyertalk - they have a whole section on hotel offers from the different chains.

Use priceline.com and bid for the rooms. Choose the districts around Times Square and four star.
Last year we got the Sheraton Towers (half way between Times Square and Central Park) - fabulous location - for £100/night. For the same dates, the best I could get for the same hotel was about £400/night.

I meant priceline.co.uk - you need to use the UK site if in the UK.

Not sure if you're still looking, but just booked an amazing price on hotels.com for the Setai 5th avenue, 5 nights end of August, £1200. Which is an amazing price for this hotel, and if you compare that to the prices for other hotels in the same time period, I almost couldn't believe my luck. Hotel has Free wifi too :)

Have you stayed there Slinky? What did you like about in particular?

Never stayed there myself, but the rave reviews have me excited already, can't wait!

Only ever stayed at the Westin Times Square before in NYC, but got fed up with them, so I'm looking forward to a change.
