Hotels in Majorca

Hi - Thinking of booking a late week in the sun at the end of September (if the summer carries on like this, I'll be desperate for some sunshine by then!). Although I am tempted to go to Dubai again, I thought of giving Europe another go and in particular Majorca. Haven't been there for while but am looking for a very nice hotel in one of the quieter areas, yet with decent restaurants nearby.

I would also be grateful for a luxury villa company recommendation if anyone has one.

Would really appreciate any advice you seasoned travellers could offer!

I would recommend Puerto Pollensa on the north of the island.

My son works for Villa Plus, have a look at their website they do from small to a large 4 bed with free air-con and wi-fi in most and heated pools.

I second all of that we been going to PP for over 30 years back again in September its just what the doctor ordered.Its like going to second home so friendly.

If you want to indulge in pure luxury then you can't beat La Residencia in the mountains. Rooms are just beautiful and the spa wonderful. They will even send a limo to pickup/drop off at the airport (at a price)

However, the drive to Deia from Port de Soller is brilliant. Lots of hairpins and great views.
